Phoenix Rising, the quarterly newsletter from Phoenix Institute, has been one of Samuel’s most important outreach tools since 1987. Presenting interviews with Samuel, his replies to questions from readers, articles based on his teachings, news about Phoenix’s home base in Lexington and its sister organizations in Atlanta and Pittsburgh, calendars of events in all three cities, even recipes, the newsletter has served to unite the widespread Phoenix family across the world.
Beginning in the fall of 2010, the entire newsletter is available online. The current issue can be downloaded in PDF format for reading in your browser or for printing.

Phoenix Institute
Phoenix Institute, Inc. is a nonprofit, tax exempt 501(c)3 organization based in Lexington, Kentucky. It was formed in 1984 to give the public access to Samuel’s message of personal empowerment.
More than a building or an organization, Phoenix is a dynamic and changing group of people who are committed to learning more about themselves through studying Samuel’s teachings and incorporating those spiritual principles into their lives.
Phoenix has no membership nor paid staff. It is run by a group of dedicated volunteers, with much of its financial support coming through donations.
Phoenix works closely with EarthLight, Inc. to make sure that resources and information about Samuel’s work are available to those who wish to know more.
